SPREAD at the Design Museum of Chicago?

NON:op just submitted a proposal to the Design Museum of Chicago for SPREAD, a new long wire installation using sonification of data to track the spread of COVID-19. Based on 2019's BLOOD LINES installation at Augustana Lutheran Church of Hyde Park, SPREAD features sound design by Christophe Preissing, fabrication and programming by Hugh Sato, and a sculpture by David Sundry.

  • Cantos of War and Peace; only the dead have seen the end of war, for chamber ensemble and 10-speaker audio system
